Pakistani people are fed up with inflation, getting eggs at Rs 30, ginger at Rs 1,000 per kg
Islamabad: Neighboring country is in dire straits under Prime Minister Imran Khan, who came to power claiming to create a new Pakistan. Inflation has caused a stir. The price of eggs, including vegetables and pulses, has also gone up. An egg costs Rs 30, a kg of sugar costs Rs 104, a kg of wheat costs Rs 60 and a kg of ginger costs Rs 1,000.
The price of wheat broke all records
As early as last December, the situation in the country was deteriorating. At the point when the cost of wheat arrived at Rs 2,000 for every 40 kg. But in October 2020, that record was broken. At present, wheat is being sold here at Rs 2,400 per 40 kg (Rs 60 per kg).
Earlier, Pakistan used to export onions to the rest of the world but now it has to import them to bring down the prices of onions. Imran Khan's government and officials are holding meetings to bring down the price of flour and sugar to the public.
