1.  According to the global ranking released in the year 2021, Japan's passport has been described as the most powerful passport in the world. People living in Japan can travel to 191 countries visa-free with this passport. Japan has been topping this ranking for the last four years. Singapore is named second in this list. People living in this country can make travel visas for 190 countries free.

2.  Germany and South Korea are named third in this list. People from both countries can travel visa-free in 189 countries. Apart from this, there are four countries in the fourth place in this list. People living in Italy, Finland, Luxembourg, and Spain can travel to 188 countries. In the same list, Austria and Denmark are in fifth place and people of these countries can free travel visas to 187 countries. In the same sixth place, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden are five countries. People from all these countries can enjoy visa-free travel in 186 countries.

3.  This year the ranking is released by the Hanley Passport Index. This ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association. However, this year's rankings have not included temporary restrictions on travel in many countries due to the coronavirus epidemic.
