Punjab solid fog , Haryana; Cold waves continue

At low 1.8 degrees Celsius, Amritsar is the coldest place in Punjab. Bathinda, Faridkot and Adampur also shivered under a strong cold, recorded a minimum temperature of 2.2, 2.3 ND 2.9 degrees Celsius, said the Meteorological Department official.
Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Pathankot and Patiala recorded the lowest position of 4.7, 5.5, 5.1 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively. Chandigarh, a public capital of two countries, also experienced a cold night at 4.6 degrees Celsius.
Narnaul was the coldest place in Haryana, who recorded 2.4 degrees Celsius, while Hisar, Sirsa and Bhiwani were also rolled under cold bites with minimum temperatures from 3.7, 3.6 and 3.9 degrees Celsius. Ambala and Karnal also experienced a cold night recording of a minimum temperature of 4.2 and 4.4 degrees Celsius.
